Jim Parsons bring so much life to the character he plays that he’s become one of many people’s new favorite actor, and not surprisingly one of their crushes.

Some people are simply not attracted to gays, so those of us, straight folks who are fans of his would just hope to find out he isn’t gay. It just makes us feel better. It really doesn’t make a difference though, unless you met him,new each other, and really fell in love or something like that. He’s a really good actor and plays that part very well. Makes that show what it is and is the reason it caught me and why I watch it. His character seems a bit gayish in a way, perhaps, but the real guy in person…..who knows? I do hope he isn’t gay. He soooo reminds me of my ex boyfriend lookwise and personality wise… Who acted funny our whole relationship and wasn’t really into anything intimate. Then he turned out to be as gay. I just started watching the Big Bang Theory because of the actor Johnny Galecki who I enjoyed watching when he played David in Roseanne. I fell in love with his childish demure and little puppy routine to Miss Gilbert’s character. I immediately became entranced with this show and could not get enough of it. (Thank God for dvr) Now It is all I want to watch. It has me literally rolling around in tears from laughter and I feel like I’m addicted and looking for my next fix. All the characters are superb in their daily interaction with each other and the rest of the ordinary world. My hats off to each and every actor and actress for they are truly marvelous in their depiction of the character they portray. And….sorry Johnny but as much as I love your character I have a new found love in Sheldon.
What is amazing about Jim Parsons is his ability to memorize his scientific lines and make you believe he knows what he’s talking about. My daughter teaches at Cal Tech and Sheldon is everyone at that university.

It says they’re heading up to MA for a Christmas wedding, congrats to them, hope they live long and prosper. He is a good comic actor, well educated in his chosen field. Has excellent timing, sort of reminds me of Jack Benny, likes the sidelong look and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone who was more obviously gay. Ditto the guy who plays Barney, where are the other gaydar proponents?

I love this show, I watch it with my kids. All the guys on here are funny. The show is even more funnier this year…and Sheldon keeps me laughing!
Does it really matter if he is gay in 2011. He is wonderful. Didnt catch up on the big bang theory until recently then watched all episodes in one day. He is truly amazing in the series and in his television interviews. I love you sheldon. ps where my son works there are alot of nerds (computer) he is leonard to a sheldon there lol he is 6′7″.
I have always thought he was gay but that dosent take anything away from him. Gay or not he is still super HOT & super talented. Whoever he is with is very lucky. I bet there is never a dull moment with him!!!

Most shows are just mind numbing to go along with the medication and therapy. I admit I had never heard of BBT but when I discovered it I was so pleased! You all play so well off each other. I love the way you all form the protective shell around Sheldon. Especially when all else fails they call on Sheldon’s mom…waiting to see The ultimate Sheldon wrangler– Sheldon’s MeMa. Thanks again and continued success.

you people are so making me sick with this gay/straight thing…Jim Parsons is a brilliant actor and a joy to watch on tv…watching him play Sheldon makes me happy and makes me smile..and i truly hope he has a long and happy acting career and that in his personal life he is also happy and healthy and i wish to thank him for the smiles he has brought to me.
I just recently started watching BBT, I normally do not watch much network television, but I must admit, I really like this show. Jim Parsons is very good, he possesses insight into Sheldon’s ticks and idiosyncracies and that is what makes him so funny. Personally, I do think he is gay, but it does not matter to me. He is a good actor and he is good looking with a childlike quality. Now I have to tape all of the older shows to get caught up on this series. I really do like the fact that they are all so intellectual but not terribly bright about life. It is a joy to watch and I cannot remember the last time I actually laughed aloud at a television series.

It’s so easy to love Jim Parsons! He’s so polite in interviews and he’s got such a great sense of humor. He seems so happy with his boyfriend and they look so great together. I hope to see more of Jim on TV, Broadway, and even movies for years to come. He’s one in a million.
